Scott and his team at Total Render Solutions did a brilliant job fitting our External Wall Insulation (EWI) in October/November 2025. It was a big job to get our house properly insulated ahead of switching to an Air Source Heat Pump. Not only did we have EWI fitted, but the edge of our roof needed extending over the EWI. Scott oversaw and coordinated the whole project engaging teams for each aspect of the work, scaffolding, roofing, EWI installation and plumbing. The team fitting the EWI were extremely hardworking, paying attention to detail and communicating well with us throughout. Any unexpected findings during the process were discussed with us and solutions found and well implemented, for example the construction of our loft dormer was not as anticipated, but Scott and AJ were able to put in place an excellent solution. We are delighted with the quality of the work and the appearance of our house and it is worth mentioning that the house was noticeably warmer during the winter. We have received many complements from neighbours and visiting tradespeople about the quality and finish of our EWI.

We've had EWI installed and new render, and everything has been finished to an excellent standard. Scott went above and beyond in finding a suitable solution to maintain some historic features  of our house (bathstone sills and quions), and AJ did a excellent job bringing them to life. Scott was very communicative, everything was very well managed, and completed in good time. Overall, we're really happy with the work done and the price and would highly recommend TRS!
